Rubber Lagging is the process of chemically bonding (vulcanizing) raw rubber to steel conveyor pulleys and/or rollers to make them more efficient and also last much longer.
Benefits:
Increases the traction between the belt bottom cover and the pulley face, reducing slippage.
Protects the pulley face in abrasive conditions therefore extending pulley service life.
Options:
Grooves can be added to give the pulley additional gripping power (the photos on the left show examples of different grove patterns).
We can clean and re-lag any manufacturer's pulley, saving you both time and money.
Construction:
Available in standard 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" thickness.
Also available in a wide range of materials and finishes.
Vulcanized to strict tolerances and the highest industry standards.
